The Clinical Trials Centre (HKU-CTC) is a leading clinical trials management platform established under The University of Hong Kong LKS Faculty of Medicine (HKUMed) and dedicated to managing and facilitating international-standard clinical trials on new drugs, medical devices and medical technologies. HKU-CTC offers long-term development opportunities to passionate talents who pursue career advancement and success. We are seeking a high calibre candidate to join our Communication and Public Engagement Unit.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the team in implementing corporate branding and recruitment plans;
- Provide logistical support for corporate events, recruitment campaigns and public education activities;
- Design promotional materials, such as publications, social media posts, short videos, and animations;
- Maintain and update digital channels including websites and social media platforms;
- Maintain the volunteer database, process new registrations, and handle operational tasks related to volunteer management;
- Handle public enquiries regarding clinical research activities and volunteer participation;
- Assist in sourcing quotations from external partners and service providers;
- Provide on-site assistance during visits for delegations and guests.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Sciences, Social Sciences, Marketing, Public Relations, or related disciplines;
- Proficiency in design and video-editing tools, and experience in social media management, customer service or public relations are definite advantages;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Detail‑minded, self‑motivated and independent;
- Strong sense of responsibility and positive service attitude;
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
Appointment will commence as soon as possible for a 1-year temporary basis or a 2-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. Appointment on a 2-year fixed-term basis will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
