About the Role
You will join the Central Operational Management Control team within the Travel Retail division, working on a global scope. The role acts as a business partner to IT leadership and Corporate teams, with a strong focus on controlling and optimizing IT expenditure. The position combines recurring financial closing activities, budget management, reporting, and cross-functional project work. Its purpose is to improve visibility on IT spend, support investment decisions, and help align financial priorities with IT needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly closes, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
- Analyze monthly variances and monitor performance against objectives.
- Contribute to budgeting cycles by building, updating, and challenging assumptions.
- Review budget variances and support corrective action plans.
- Track IT budgets across OPEX and CAPEX.
- Separate run costs from project spend and monitor budget consumption.
- Support process improvement and the rollout of financial tracking and reporting tools.
- Take part in cross-functional projects across the Group.
Required Skills
- Master’s-level education (Bac+5) in finance or management control.
- At least 5 years of experience in an IT-related environment.
- Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Comfort working with information systems, including SAP, BW, BPC, Magnitude, and Power BI.
- Professional English, both written and spoken.
- Rigour, reliability, business acumen, and a proactive mindset.

FinOps Responsibilities
- Support control and optimization of IT spending across a global scope.
- Monitor IT budgets, including OPEX and CAPEX.
- Distinguish between run costs and project investments.
- Analyze spend variances and help define corrective actions.
- Support IT investment decisions and financial governance.
- Contribute to financial reporting and tracking for IT costs.
- Help align financial priorities with IT priorities.
