About the Role

You will join the Central Operational Management Control team within the Travel Retail division, working on a global scope. The role acts as a business partner to IT leadership and Corporate teams, with a strong focus on controlling and optimizing IT expenditure. The position combines recurring financial closing activities, budget management, reporting, and cross-functional project work. Its purpose is to improve visibility on IT spend, support investment decisions, and help align financial priorities with IT needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly closes, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
  • Analyze monthly variances and monitor performance against objectives.
  • Contribute to budgeting cycles by building, updating, and challenging assumptions.
  • Review budget variances and support corrective action plans.
  • Track IT budgets across OPEX and CAPEX.
  • Separate run costs from project spend and monitor budget consumption.
  • Support process improvement and the rollout of financial tracking and reporting tools.
  • Take part in cross-functional projects across the Group.

Required Skills

  • Master’s-level education (Bac+5) in finance or management control.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an IT-related environment.
  • Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
  • Comfort working with information systems, including SAP, BW, BPC, Magnitude, and Power BI.
  • Professional English, both written and spoken.
  • Rigour, reliability, business acumen, and a proactive mindset.

FinOps Responsibilities

  • Support control and optimization of IT spending across a global scope.
  • Monitor IT budgets, including OPEX and CAPEX.
  • Distinguish between run costs and project investments.
  • Analyze spend variances and help define corrective actions.
  • Support IT investment decisions and financial governance.
  • Contribute to financial reporting and tracking for IT costs.
  • Help align financial priorities with IT priorities.
