Job Description: Corporate Financial Controller
About the Role
As a Corporate Financial Controller at Groupe Pichet, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial management of support functions. Reporting directly to the Corporate Management Control Director, you will serve as a key business partner, driving operational efficiency and financial performance within your department. Your collaboration with various teams will help establish financial best practices and contribute to the overall success of the organization. This position exists to ensure effective financial monitoring and to challenge performance metrics across the support functions. Your primary objectives will include optimizing cash flow, creating accurate business plans, and enhancing financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to group management and support function directors by monitoring and challenging financial and operational performance.
- Ensure the achievement of profitability objectives through effective oversight and challenge of departmental performance.
- Optimize cash manage to enhance financial performance across the group.
- Participate in the preparation and analysis of management consolidation, including income statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets.
- Contribute to the development and analysis of group reporting involving revenue, personnel costs, IT expenses, property costs, and vehicle fleet costs.
- Coordinate the global budgeting process, working collaboratively with departmental managers and finance controllers.
- Develop and optimize budgeting tools and challenge assumptions to align with corporate strategy.
- Prepare and scrutinize business plans for your area of responsibility.
- Participate in accounting closings and production of operating accounts, providing explanations for any discrepancies in performance.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree (Bac+4/5) in finance, audit, or management control.
- Over 5 years of experience as a financial controller, preferably within support functions or group settings.
- Proficiency in budgeting and forecasting.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with analytical tools.
- Proactive attitude with a strong initiative to identify and resolve issues.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a results-oriented approach.
