Control Tower Pre‑Analyst
We are seeking a Control Tower Pre‑Analyst to support our vehicle quality improvement efforts. The primary objective of this role is to reduce the number of defects detected on vehicles in the field by proactively identifying, analyzing, and escalating issues.
You will play a key role in connecting data insights with operational actions, ensuring that field issues are detected early and handled efficiently through close collaboration with engineering, suppliers, manufacturing, and after‑sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
Within your scope of responsibility (vehicle systems, propulsion, engineering domain, etc.), you will:
- Detect issues in the field, including safety concerns, breakdowns, and incidents, using multiple data sources such as warranty claims, diagnostics, and OTA data
- Raise alerts in case of potential crises, recurring issues, or media‑sensitive risks
- Perform pre‑analysis of incoming issues, including characterization and prioritization
- Ensure effective handover of issues to the appropriate stakeholders (suppliers, plants, engineering, after‑sales)
- Update databases when dealing with known issues
- Use AI and advanced data analytics tools to enable early detection and decision‑making
- Ensure all activities are conducted in line with standards and are properly tracked in IT systems (e.g. Palantir Foundry, GIM, Altis, PLM)
Profile
- Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Strong data analytics skills; experience with AI and big data tools is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with multiple stakeholders
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment
