Control Manager Power Train System

Lead the strategy and implementation of control systems for powertrains (thermal, hybrid) to ensure performance, regulatory compliance, and robustness of delivered solutions.

Ensure technical and project coordination between SW, HW, calibration, and validation teams

Ensure consistency of control functions in a multi-project and multi-technology context

Meet QCDP objectives (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Performance) for SW/HW deliverables

Ensure compliance with standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, Cybersecurity)

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the control architecture for the propulsion perimeter
• Drive the roadmap for control functions (torque management, energy management, diagnostics)
• Oversee functional validation (HIL/SIL, vehicle testing)
• Ensure requirement traceability and compliance with standards
• Make technical decisions in collaboration with SW Project Leaders, HW Leaders, Calibration Manager
• Provide KPI reporting and risk management to senior management
• Participate in taskforces in case of technical or quality crisis

Key Activities

• Develop the control development plan and monitor its execution
• Lead technical reviews and convergence committees
• Coordinate calibration and validation activities
• Manage changes through GDM/PEPP processes
• Contribute to reuse strategy and standardization of solutions

Education & Experience

• Engineering degree in electronics, automation, or computer science
• 5 to 10 years of experience in control systems or propulsion SW development
