We have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Administrator to join our growing consultancy business based in our Crewe office. The Contracts Administrator will support the Contracts Manager with the preparation, administration, and tracking of contractual documents to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant contract management.
Responsibilities
- Support the Contracts Manager with contract lifecycle management, assisting with the full lifecycle of contracts from initiation through execution, amendment, renewal, and close‑out, ensuring timely processing and documentation.
- Ensure that contracts comply with legal requirements, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Keep up to date with global regulatory requirements that may impact contract terms.
- Maintain up‑to‑date records of Subcontractor Framework Agreements and Work Schedules, ensuring compliance with internal policies and project‑specific requirements and track key contract milestones and renewal dates.
- Prepare and review cost estimates across service lines, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with organisational standards.
- Enter new business opportunities into the CRM system, monitor their progression through the sales pipeline, and update records upon contract finalisation to maintain accuracy.
- Track, manage, and renew confidentiality agreements to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Maintain a structured and accessible electronic filing system for contracts, supporting legal compliance, company policies, industry regulations and efficient document retrieval.
Preferred Expertise
- Proven experience in a Contracts Administrator or similar role (e.g. Bids & Tender Administrator, Commercial Coordinator, Legal Administrator).
- An understanding of contract law, legal terminology, compliance and regulation would be highly advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Word and Excel skills.
- Experience with PDF editing tools and CRM systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, planning and organising skills (essential).
- Good communication and negotiation skills (essential).
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously (essential).
- Excellent document preparation and formatting experience.
