Purpose of the Role The Contract Manager is responsible for developing and managing supplier partnerships, securing competitive commercial agreements, and driving revenue, profitability, and growth across their assigned markets. The role ensures the company maintains a strong and competitive product portfolio while delivering against sales, margin, override, and marketing contribution targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate competitive commercial agreements with suppliers to maximise sales, revenue, and operating margin.
  • Build, maintain, and develop strong supplier relationships through regular contact, both in market and remotely.
  • Achieve contracting, sales, override, and marketing contribution targets in line with agreed business objectives.
  • Implement destination and product strategies aligned with regional priorities and company KPIs.
  • Identify and secure new commercial, promotional, and marketing opportunities to drive incremental revenue and market share.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and destination developments to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Manage supplier performance and service levels, ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with global sales and commercial teams, ensuring awareness of product developments and key market opportunities.
  • Analyse commercial performance and produce data-driven recommendations using Microsoft Excel and other business tools.
  • Develop strategic plans that prioritise key and emerging revenue‑producing suppliers and support long‑term business growth.
  • Identify innovative ways to strengthen our market position and differentiate our product offering from competitors.
  • Represent HBX Group professionally with suppliers and external stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years' experience in a contracting, commercial, purchasing, or supplier management role.
  • Strong knowledge of the French tourism, experiences, or travel market.
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proven negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities and drive results.
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
