About You

You are an experienced contracts professional with a strong background in the commercial and contractual management of complex offshore oil and gas projects. You demonstrate sound technical understanding, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to advise on and manage contractual strategies that protect company interests and maximise profitability. You’re comfortable working within a large project team and interfacing directly with clients, partners, and subcontractors on contractual matters. You value integrity, collaboration, and performance, and can operate effectively across international environments.

About the Role

As Contract Manager, you will be responsible for all commercial and contractual management matters related to the Main Contract with the company's clients and alliance partners.

You will act as a key member of the Project Management Team, advising on strategic contractual decisions, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with corporate contracting principles.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the Main Contract and supporting key Subcontract management.
• Leading contract awareness sessions and ensuring contractual obligations are understood across the project team.
• Providing sound commercial and contractual advice throughout project execution.
• Preparing and analysing Main Contract terms to identify obligations, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensuring effective “flow down” of Main Contract terms into subcontracts.
• Overseeing project bonds, guarantees, and insurance requirements.
• Participating in internal and external meetings on contractual and commercial matters.
• Driving commercial performance through proactive management and strong administration standards.

You will report day-to-day to the Project Contracts Manager and functionally to the Head of Contracts.
