Content Specialist
Role Overview
At Ayvens Bank we have an opening for a Content Specialist.
As our new Content Specialist , you will be responsible for the substantive content of our website, banking environment, and app. You will create and publish inspiring and relevant content that resonates with the target audience. You act as the link between product content, service-oriented content, and customer communication, ensuring coherence between content, customer experience, and inspiration. You will also contribute to marketing activities assigned within the team. You will report to the Marketing Manager .
Responsibilities
Web, Product & Customer Content
- Developing, managing, and optimizing structural website content
- Writing and updating content about our savings products and processes, substantiating and drafting customer requests
- Translating complex information into clear, customer-focused language for service content (emails, FAQs)
- Monitoring content performance based on findability and usage, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Collaborating with ICT, compliance, legal, and customer service to ensure accuracy and up-to-date content, strengthening customer trust and reliability
- Safeguarding tone of voice, terminology, and consistency across the website, app, and banking environment
Blog & News Content
- Stepping into the shoes of our target audience and understanding their questions, inspiration, and information needs
- Researching relevant themes and topics, identifying interesting keywords, incorporating them into the content strategy
- Creating content that helps and/or inspires our target audience, managing external parties who support us
- Executing the content strategy and defining associated KPIs
- Creating and maintaining the content calendar, driving execution, monitoring deadlines, contributing to related outputs on our social channels
- Creating personalized newsletters where inspiration and customer experience combine
- Analyzing effectiveness and impact of the content strategy, adjusting and optimizing as necessary
Other Marketing Tasks
Customer Experience & Insights
- Collecting insights and acting on them to elevate our services to the next level
Digital Development
- Contributing to our digital solutions backlog and preparing and testing releases
Qualifications
Required Level Of Education And Technical Abilities
- A completed HBO or WO degree in Marketing Communication
- Knowledge of AI-driven content generation, SEO, and GEO
- Knowledge of digital accessibility standards
- Ability to edit visual materials using Canva or Adobe Photoshop
- Strong writing skills in Dutch
- Team player with excellent sparring skills and strong stakeholder management abilities
- Analytical and data-driven mindset
- Proactive and decisive
Required Work Experience
- At least 5 years of work experience in a content role, preferably in a complex or regulated environment
- Experience with web content, customer communication, content strategies, content planning, and optimization
- Affinity with financial products
Language Requirements
- Dutch (fluent, spoken and written) – excellent level
- English (fluent, spoken and written)
