Job Summary

Position: Content Sales Manager, Global French (French‑speakingcountries)

Duration: 7 months with a possible 2‑month extension, starting July2026.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Quebec Content Sales specialist to meet budget objectives in that territory.
  • Connect French, Belgian, Swiss, and Quebec customers with new eBook and audiobook offerings.
  • Stay informed on the latest releases and upcoming titles in the markets and secure appropriate placement across storefronts, apps, and marketing materials.
  • Utilize reporting tools to inform title placement and identify opportunities for ad‑hoc initiatives.
  • Support the launch of new lines of business and execute promotions and marketing campaigns with publishers and retail partners.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Brand & PR, and Publisher Relations to capture and promote content‑selling opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Customer Care, Product, and Business Development to keep all stakeholders informed about the content story in the assigned territories.
  • Work with Product, Analytics, Business Development, Retail Partners, Publisher Operations, and Vendor Management to maximise sales and analyse market share growth opportunities.
  • Create periodic sales performance analyses and use findings to refine strategy.

Qualifications

  • Passion for bookselling and e‑commerce, backed by experience in book retail, publishing, or related digital roles.
  • Deep knowledge of the French book and digital publishing market with an understanding of global cultures.
  • Native French (written, spoken, reading) is required; fluent English (written, spoken, reading) is required.
  • Strong data‑analytics skills – proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Customer‑first focus and ability to build cross‑functional relationships remotely across multiple countries.
  • Experience working across cultures.

Nice to Have

  • Interest or experience in project management and experience using tools such as ClickUp.
  • Experience managing people, including interns and work‑study students.
  • Excellent communication skills and discretion in choosing the appropriate communication channel.
  • Strong organisational skills, autonomy, and calmness under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
