Role Overview
Container IT Operations Manager (f/m) – Toulouse, France. Working as part of the DICB Containers & Private Cloud team, responsible for operating mission‑critical Kubernetes platforms that support Airbus’ multi‑cloud strategy and enable digitalization.

Your challenges
- Manage the end‑to‑end platform lifecycle, steering strategic roadmaps, version upgrades and obsolescence tracking for a large OpenShift/Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for external vendors to resolve complex software bugs and coordinate patching cycles.
- Drive infrastructure GitOps orchestration with ArgoCD for cluster administration and enforce global governance and security hardening via ACM/ACS.
- Lead ITIL‑based operational processes (incident, problem, change) and head Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to maintain constant 24/7 stability.
- Coordinate international administrator teams and collaborate with platform architects to align infrastructure availability with negotiated SLAs.
Qualifications
- Background in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience building, deploying and operating cloud container solutions (Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, Rancher).
- Strong Linux system administration experience (RHEL, Ubuntu) and GitOps/automation workflows (ArgoCD, Ansible, Terraform).
- Advanced proficiency in both English and French.
