Position Overview

Airbus Commercial Aircraft seeks a Container IT Operations Manager (f/m) to join our DICB Containers & Private Cloud team in Toulouse, France.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end lifecycle of our OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms, directing strategic roadmaps, version upgrades, and obsolescence tracking.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for external editors, resolving complex software bugs and coordinating patching cycles.
• Drive infrastructure GitOps orchestration using ArgoCD for cluster administration, and enforce global governance and security hardening via ACM/ACS.
• Lead ITIL‑based operational processes (incident, problem, change) and head Root Cause Analysis to maintain 24/7 stability.
• Coordinate international administrator teams and collaborate with platform architects to ensure infrastructure availability aligns with negotiated SLAs.

Qualifications

• Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience building, deploying, and operating cloud container solutions (Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, Rancher).
• Strong background in Linux system administration (RHEL, Ubuntu) and GitOps/Automation workflows (ArgoCD, Ansible, Terraform).
• Advanced proficiency in both English and French.
