The RedHat Consulting team seeks a Consultant focused on RedHat Cloud Products to join us in Strasbourg in France. In this role, you will specialize in delivering infrastructure services on top of the OpenShift platform, and will lead the on‑site implementation of RedHat’s technologies such as RedHat OpenShift, RedHat OpenShift Virtualization and RedHat OpenShift AI. You will play a key role in enterprise development for our customers, helping make our solutions practical and workable for their businesses. You will work to understand customer infrastructure and business needs, make recommendations to resolve issues, and help them make strategic decisions. This role requires the Consultant to work 5 days a week from the customer site in Strasbourg.

What you will do

• Serve as a subject‑matter expert at the customer site, addressing technical, development, or strategic IT requirements
• Understand industry practices and RedHat’s policies, procedures, and values
• Demonstrate good judgment in selecting the best methods to obtain solutions
• Implement and integrate RedHat’s open and hybrid cloud solutions, including RedHat OpenShift and other RedHat offerings
• Collaborate with project and customer team members to meet timelines and goals
• Contribute to project documentation and diagrams, including ticket or bug management
• Mentor and share your knowledge with customers
• Define and promote the adoption of automation techniques and DevOps processes to improve the cloud life‑cycle, including infrastructure and application uptime, availability, and time‑to‑market
• Implement solutions using cloud technologies, design principles, integration points, and automation methods

What you will bring

• 4+ years of experience working directly with enterprise stakeholders on infrastructural projects
• 2+ years of experience with advanced knowledge of RedHat OpenShift or underlying components such as Kubernetes and Docker
• 2+ years of experience in IT automation with Ansible
• Experience with GitOps, using tools such as ArgoCD, RHACM, Helm, Git, and Kustomize
• Deep knowledge of RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Experience implementing system infrastructure and cloud solutions, including data storage, networking, monitoring, virtualization, and security
• Good written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation
• Self‑motivated learning and the ability to put new ideas into practice
• Passion for open source, software, tooling, and automation
• Excellent communication skills in English and French
• Availability to travel across the region

Skills that will be considered a plus

• VMware experience
• RedHat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification
• Experience with DevOps and agile processes
• Experience using public cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
