As part of the sales team and working closely with the Customer Success and Professional Services teams, the Pre-Sales Consultant plays a key role in the success of the pre-sales phases.

The pre-sales Consultant will contribute to the preparation, presentation, and customization of product demonstrations in order to showcase Agatha’s value to prospects and effectively support the sales teams in closing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and Coordination of Pre-Sales Activities

  • Collaborate with sales representatives to understand customer needs and build a tailored approach.
  • Prepare demonstration environments according to each prospect’s context.

Active participation in Demonstrations

  • Take part in pre-sales meetings and demos as a key contributor.
  • Illustrate the business and functional benefits of the solution.
  • Respond to technical and functional questions in coordination with product specialists.
  • Work closely with the Customer Success and Professional Services teams to ensure consistency between the sales promise and the deployment reality.
  • Build on field feedback to improve demonstrations, sales pitches, and standard configurations.
  • Identify, through pre-sales discussions and customer needs, key use cases that can feed into the product roadmap for new features or enhancements.
  • Contribute to the documentation and standardization of demo environments while maintaining ongoing functional awareness.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent, Bac+4/5) in engineering, science, computer science, or business.
  • Successful experience at least 2 years in a pre-sales, consulting, or functional role, ideally within a SaaS environment.
  • Strong functional understanding of business processes, preferably in Life Sciences or other regulated environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and persuade effectively.
  • Enjoys collaboration, versatility, and working in an international team environment.
  • Demonstrates rigor, curiosity, adaptability, and a strong customer-service mindset.
  • Fluent English required (international working language).
