Consultant, Health and Safety Expert – Managing Level

• Plan, implement, and evaluate occupational safety and health training and workshops for customers
• Conduct on-site, risk-based assessments to identify critical operational health and safety risks
• Provide technical expertise and practical improvement solutions for machine safety, hazardous energy control (LOTO), ATEX, work at height, confined space entry, contractor management, and permit-to-work systems
• Identify risks, conduct risk assessments, and support preventive measures to minimize accidents and environmental impacts
• Advise and support clients on implementing occupational safety and health standards and legal regulations
• Support clients in identifying, assessing, and managing critical operational risks and developing risk reduction strategies aligned with industry best practices
• Review and update safety policies and procedures to comply with current best practices and legal requirements
• Develop client relationships and identify opportunities with existing and new clients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across ERM
• Travel regularly to domestic customers

Requirements

• Completed studies or comparable training with a focus on occupational safety, health, environmental protection, or sustainability
• Proven experience as an H&S expert with in-depth knowledge of legal regulations and industry standards in occupational safety and environmental protection
• Experience conducting training and workshops and implementing safety cultures in companies
• Strong technical expertise in operational health and safety, including machine safety, hazardous energy control (LOTO), ATEX, work at height, confined spaces, contractor safety, and permit-to-work systems
• Analytical thinking and ability to identify complex problems and develop effective solutions
• Experience in construction site H&S management and oversight would be considered an advantage
• Team player with a passion for environmental protection and sustainable business development
• Excellent written and spoken French and English skills
