About the role
As a Consolidation Analyst within our Corporate Finance – Consolidation team, you will be the key financial reporting contact for a portfolio of about 20 legal entities. You will ensure the accuracy and integrity of Sanofi’s Group financial statements while contributing to complex technical accounting topics and continuous process improvement.
Main Responsibilities
- Act as the primary consolidation contact for a geographic zone of approximately 20 legal entities: monitor the end‑to‑end reporting and consolidation process, anticipate changes in reporting requirements, and deliver training sessions to local finance teams.
- Review and analyze financial data submitted by entities in your zone for quarterly, half‑year, and annual Group financial statements, and provide monthly analysis to top management.
- Ensure accurate reporting of changes in scope, including business combinations, asset deals, alliances, mergers, liquidations, and divestments.
- Contribute to M&A projects such as purchase price allocations (PPA), financial integration, and accounting support for acquired or disposed businesses and assets.
- Address technical IFRS accounting questions raised by local affiliates or global departments, covering areas such as share‑based payments (IFRS2), intangible assets, financial investments, and employee benefits; record and follow up on consolidation‑level entries including elimination and translation adjustments, at‑equity method, and fair‑value entries.
- Perform internal controls embedded in the consolidation process, including those required under SOX regulation.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of Group reporting processes and participate in system upgrades or replacements, bringing a proactive and solutions‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications
- Background in consolidation or accounting/finance with hands‑on knowledge of IFRS accounting and consolidation principles.
- Strong IFRS knowledge; proficiency in Microsoft Excel; comfortable working with financial consolidation systems and large datasets.
- Team spirit, collaborative mindset, curious and proactive problem‑solving, resilience under pressure, rigorous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Fluent in English; French is a plus.
