Open Roles
We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Data Platform squad. Specifically, a Senior BackEnd Engineer to join the Data Platform team with strong expertise in TypeScript and Java to design and optimize data pipelines powering our medical monitoring systems. The Data Platform team manages large volumes of data, governance, and accessibility across the company.

Background & Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong experience in backend development (Java, Node.js)
- Hands-on experience with data engineering tools (Airflow, dbt, Kafka, Spark, Flink)
- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization
- Familiarity with cloud data services (AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake)
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience working with APIs and integrating data from multiple sources
Your Missions
- Develop and maintain scalable backend applications with a focus on data-intensive workflows
- Design, implement, and optimize ETL pipelines for efficient data processing
- Work with streaming and batch data processing frameworks (Apache Kafka, Spark, Flink)
- Optimize relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) for performance
- Ensure data integrity, reliability, and scalability across distributed systems
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and DevOps teams to integrate data-driven solutions
- Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments (AWS) using CI/CD pipelines
Work & Development
At Implicity, you will have a weekly meeting with your manager to help you succeed and continuously improve. Teams work with quarterly OKRs, and annual appraisals focus on development.

- Security-focused development practices (Top 10 OWASP)
- Experience in micro-services architecture

- Fluency in English (essential for team collaboration) and French (for local interaction) is required

General Information
Salary: base 55-60k per year, eligible for BSPCE stock options. Benefits include health care via Alan (employer 50%), luncheon vouchers, and transport subsidy. Remote work: 3 days per week (progressively); Location: 29 rue du Louvre, 75002 Paris.
