Confidential - Executive Leader

DSJ Global are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a prestigious, globally recognised luxury maison for an Executive Leader to oversee its European business .
The organisation operates at the intersection of high luxury, craftsmanship, and heritage, serving a discerning global clientele across highly exclusive lifestyle categories.
This appointment represents a board-level mandate to lead, modernise, and accelerate the brand's performance across Europe within its most established and strategically critical region.
The Role
You will hold full accountability for the region, driving both commercial performance and brand elevation across a highly selective distribution landscape.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing the European commercial strategy across all key markets (incl. France, UK, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, and key tourist hubs)
- Owning regional P&L and delivering sustainable, profitable growth
- Steering performance across a multi-channel luxury ecosystem , including:
- Wholesale / Distribution: high-end department stores, authorised partners
- Travel Retail: airport boutiques and key global hubs
- Private Client & VIP networks
- Strengthening client engagement strategies for UHNW and HNW clientele , with a focus on exclusivity, experience, and long-term brand equity
- Elevating retail excellence and service standards , ensuring consistency with the brand's positioning
- Partnering closely with global leadership to align on brand, product, and market priorities
- Leading and evolving a diverse regional leadership team across retail, commercial, and client functions
- Acting as a key contributor at Board level on strategy, organisation, and future growth direction

The Profile
We are seeking an exceptional executive with:
- Significant leadership experience within luxury goods or adjacent categories
- Proven track record of managing European or multi-market regions at scale
- Deep understanding of luxury distribution models , including:
- Retail networks and boutique operations
- Wholesale partnerships and controlled distribution
- Clienteling and private client development
- Strong exposure to high-value client segments (HNW/UHNW)
- Demonstrated ability to balance:
- Brand stewardship and long-term equity
- Commercial delivery and growth acceleration
Critically, you will bring:
- Executive presence with credibility at Board level
- A refined understanding of luxury codes, culture, and client expectations
- The ability to lead through influence, precision, and discretion
