Position Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the completion of tertiary sector projects with a strong focus on the renovation of office spaces, value up to €1M, from preliminary design to final acceptance. Your main mission will be to:
- Lead and oversee on‑site construction activities, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in the pre‑construction phase by reviewing construction methodologies, assessing execution risks and site constraints, and developing mitigation strategies.
- Manage project execution, ensuring adherence to approved budgets, schedules, profitability targets, and risk‑management plans.
- Coordinate all project stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, suppliers, Facility Management teams, and client representatives.
- Oversee workspace relocations, furniture procurement, delivery planning and installation logistics.
- Monitor and coordinate the activities of all trade contractors (electric, HVAC, etc.), ensuring effective integration and sequencing of works.
- Develop, maintain and monitor detailed project schedules, including a rolling three‑week look‑ahead programme.
- Organise and chair regular construction progress meetings, coordinating actions and tracking deliverables.
- Prepare and distribute project documentation and reporting, including meeting minutes, flash reports, HSE reports and progress updates.
- Conduct regular site inspections and technical reviews to verify workmanship quality, compliance with specifications and implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure strict adherence to the client’s safety requirements and CBRE standards, promoting a proactive Health, Safety and Environment culture on site.
- Manage project close‑out activities, including inspections, snagging, defect resolution, testing, commissioning follow‑up and final handover.
- Proactively identify, mitigate and resolve project risks, issues and potential conflicts before they impact objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes and high client satisfaction.
- Utilise project management tools and software to monitor progress, resource allocation, reporting and performance metrics.
- Maintain effective verbal and written communication in English with local and international stakeholders.
This role requires a high degree of autonomy. You will be responsible for managing your projects from start to finish, with minimal supervision. Your ability to take initiative, solve problems and make independent decisions will be key to your success.
Qualifications
- Higher technical education (building/energy/electrical/IT, ESTP or equivalent) and 5–7 years experience in the construction industry (FM/General Contractor/Client‑side Project Management/Client’s Assistant/Project Management).
- Independent, meticulous, familiar with stages of commercial and/or industrial projects.
- Excellent team spirit, communication skills and strong client relations; agile and responsive.
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
- Familiar with different trades and have technical knowledge.
- Knowledge of regulations related to workspace layout and technical building constraints.
- Fluent English essential.
