Requirements and responsibilities for the position

You will be responsible for the completion of tertiary sector projects, with a strong focus on the renovation of office spaces. These projects, with a value of up to €1M, will run from the preliminary design phase through to the final acceptance of the works.

Your main mission will be to:

  • Lead and oversee on‑site construction activities, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in the pre‑construction phase by reviewing construction methodologies, assessing execution risks and site constraints, and developing mitigation strategies to support successful project delivery.
  • Manage project execution, ensuring adherence to approved budgets, schedules, profitability targets, and risk management plans.
  • Coordinate all project stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, suppliers, Facility Management teams, and client representatives, to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Oversee workspace relocations, furniture procurement, delivery planning, and installation logistics.
  • Monitor and coordinate the activities of all trade contractors (including electrical, HVAC, and other disciplines), ensuring effective integration and sequencing of works.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules, including a rolling three‑week look ahead programme.
  • Organise and chair regular construction progress meetings, coordinating actions and tracking deliverables with all parties involved.
  • Prepare and distribute project documentation and reporting, including meeting minutes, flash reports, HSE reports and progress updates.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and technical reviews to verify workmanship quality, compliance with specifications, and implementation of corrective actions where required.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the client’s safety requirements and CBRE standards, promoting a proactive Health, Safety, and Environment culture on site.
  • Manage project close‑out activities, including inspections, snagging, defect resolution, testing and commissioning follow‑up, and final handover.
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve project risks, issues, and potential conflicts before they impact project objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes and high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Utilise project management tools and software to monitor progress, resource allocation, reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain effective verbal and written communication in English with local and international stakeholders.

This role requires a high degree of autonomy. You will be responsible for managing your projects from start to finish, from initial planning to final delivery, with minimal supervision. Your ability to take initiative, solve problems, and make decisions independently will be key to your success.
