The role will set within the Compliance sub-team “Compliance Strategy & Architecture” which shapes the strategic direction of Compliance by designing and implementing our global risk management and productivity frameworks, coordinating enterprise-wide initiatives on behalf of Compliance, and driving transformation across the Compliance function through technology to enable scalable, future proof solutions.
The position is based in our Paris office.
What you do
Compliance Platform Internal Development (COMPLEE)
- Lead the design, development, and enhancement of the COMPLEE platform (built around Databricks)
- Define and maintain application architecture standards and best practices in collaboration with the Data & Technology department
- Develop scalable backend services and monitoring frameworks
- Improve investigation workflows, case management capabilities, and reporting functionalities
Artificial Intelligence & Automation
- Help with the implementation of AI-powered Compliance solutions
- Develop and maintain AI agents supporting Compliance advisory, investigations, monitoring & reporting
- Design and maintain data pipelines supporting Compliance monitoring activities
Data Engineering & Analytics
- Integrate internal and external data sources including trading, market, regulatory, and compliance data
- Ensure data quality, lineage, traceability, and auditability
- Develop robust Python applications and services within our Cloud Platform
- Drive software quality through testing, code reviews, and engineering standards
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Collaboration & Leadership
- Act as technical lead for Compliance Technology projects
- Collaborate with Compliance Officers and stakeholders globally
- Support project delivery from concept through production deployment
- Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and technical governance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, Financial Engineering, or related quantitative discipline
- 5-7+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or enterprise application development
- Experience designing and delivering production-grade business applications
- Experience working in Financial Services (preferably with some compliance, risk, or internal audit experience)
- Expert‑level Python development
- Strong SQL and database design skills
- Experience with Databricks or similar cloud analytics platforms
- Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
- Cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Experience with Business Intelligence Tools such as Power BI
- Experience with Data Warehouse architecture
- Generative AI
- RAG architectures
- Agentic AI frameworks
- Vector databases
- Machine Learning deployment.
