Compliance Manager

Responsibilities

• Monitoring client-related compliance: assessing the appropriateness of services and the eligibility of products relative to the business model (MiFID II)
• Regulatory compliance (MiFID II)
• Market activity surveillance (MiFIR, MAR)
• Management of non-compliance risks
• Maintaining and updating the compliance control program
• Supervising and coordinating junior staff
• Proposing improvement plans for compliance processes

Requirements

• Degree from a business school or university (business, law, or finance)
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in control functions within an investment firm (AMF supervision, excluding asset management companies)
• At least 4 years in Compliance at a senior level
• Strong analytical skills, ability to identify issues and propose solutions
• Good understanding of business issues related to order execution on the markets
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Ability to handle multiple matters concurrently and work autonomously
• Fluency in French and English
