We are seeking a Community & Culture Specialist – EMEA to shape and activate DECIEM brands’ presence across the region. This is a fixed‑term contract ending December 2026.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of the EMEA Culture & Community strategy, ensuring alignment with global priorities while adapting approaches to regional and market‑specific needs.
- Monitor and analyze the cultural landscape across EMEA, identifying emerging trends, subcultures, communities, and cultural moments relevant to DECIEM brands outside the beauty/skincare space.
- Translate cultural insights into actionable opportunities and recommendations that inform partnerships, activations, and brand storytelling.
- Partner with local Communications teams to develop community‑first strategies that are culturally relevant, authentic, and sensitive to market nuances.
- Build and nurture relationships with key cultural stakeholders, including creators, artists, tastemakers, collectives, and niche communities.
- Identify and activate culturally relevant partnerships and collaborations that organically connect DECIEM brands with communities and drive meaningful engagement.
- Develop and execute regional community activations, seeding initiatives, and culturally resonant brand moments that extend beyond traditional product launch calendars.
- Drive cultural agility by identifying and responding to real‑time cultural opportunities that allow DECIEM brands to authentically participate in relevant conversations.
- Measure and report on the impact of culture and community initiatives by tracking KPIs, brand sentiment, engagement, and activation performance to inform future strategies.
- Manage cross‑market budgets and collaborate with global stakeholders, contributing insights, best practices, and recommendations to broader Community & Culture initiatives.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in culture marketing, brand activation, or community building.
- Deep immersion in cultural ecosystems outside of beauty/skincare (e.g., art, music, sport, fashion).
- Advanced understanding of major social platforms, digital culture, and evolving creator behaviours.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively across levels and regions.
- Professional fluency in English and French.
- Open‑minded, inclusive, and excited to engage with diverse communities, expressions, and identities.
- Open to monthly travel.
