1889 is the only Experiential Agency dedicated to International Luxury Clients.
Located in Paris, 1889 gathers two divisions: 1889 Experience and 1889 Private.
1889 Experience works with luxury brands to create and operate unique experiences dedicated to
their V-suite (VIP, VIC, VIS, etc.), in order to engage commitment. We analyse, create and
implement "client experience management" strategies with various objectives (customer loyalty,
customer acquisition, communication). The major French and international luxury houses in the
high jewellery, watchmaking, fashion, couture, wine and spirits sectors trust us.
Some examples: Client treatment for a fashion house during Fashion Week or the Cannes Festival
/ gala dinner for the product launch of a leather goods house / cultural tours for VICs in Paris, ...
1889 Private regroups subdivisions : Private Voyage and Private Moments. This division creates
confidential and bespoke experiences & events in France for the most demanding individual
traveller.
We have developed over the years a deep knowledge of the international HNWI & UHNW
clientele. Our guests have the privilege of discovering French know-how behind the scenes by
entering workshops, living exclusive moments with the greatest craftsmen, or visiting unique private
collections and historical places, such as a private diner in Versailles, cooking class with Michelin star
chefs, after (or before) hours in Museums, …
About the Job
OVERVIEW
We are looking for a talented Communication Intern to join our team in Paris. The role entails a
variety of tasks, from producing engaging for our social networks, to supporting our Account
Managers through product positioning, content writing and corporate identity and style guide
standardization.
You will report to the Account Managing teams of both 1889 Experience and 1889 Private.
MISSIONS
Communication:
- General communication across the company's various channels
- Social media and Newsletter: production of content for these channels
- Website: regular updates and improvements
Marketing:
- Standardization of the company's product positioning
- Content of our offers: writing descriptions of experiences and journeys
- Page layout of our offers: selecting media and defining the global layout
Additional responsibilities:
- Processing reports
- Preparing presentations
- Production support for some events
- Special administrative tasks as they arise
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Fluency in French
(required) and strong proficiency in English - Degree in Marketing or Communication strongly preferred
- Experience in a luxury company or agency is preferred
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Articulate and professional with excellent written communication skills
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Suite
- Passion for luxury
