PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- Strong involvement and implementation of platform strategy for the commodity (Product agreement negotiation)
- Manage global supplier panel relationship with assigned supplier (FA, Partnership, QBR)
- Responsible for commodity Quality Cost Delivery & Technical (QCDT) and legal supplier performance management
- Operational procurement responsibility on negotiation, cross sites/businesses bundling
- Animate Saving Plan, Co2 reduction
- Responsible of some cross functional activities on the Commodity
- Commodity Animation with site team + platfrom team

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Support commodity management
- Represent commodity
- Consolidate commodity needs, inputs
- Build and propose differentiation for AT through supplier innovation
- Participate actively to commodity strategy and panel elaboration
- Define a strategy for specific segment according to delegation
- Ensure effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving
- Apply the Alstom Procurement process and provide return on experience.
- Build Procurement Tender commitment and Project management
Monitor site Buyer activity on specific segment
- Has an operational procurement responsibility on negotiation, cross sites/PLs bundling
- Lead Saving Plan by leveraging Design to Cost, LCC, Volumes … (All savings levers)
Promote the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.

MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES
- Mandatory: Engineering or Business School master degree
Experience
- Mandatory: Minimum 8 years experiance
- Minimum of three years working experience in purchasing
- curiosity /capacity to understand Technical specificity and market knowledge of the commodity
