Established in 2017, Infinite Orbits is a NewSpace company, based in Toulouse, pushing the boundaries of in-orbit services with cutting-edge spacecraft driven by its own Rendez-Vous solution, an advanced Autonomous Vision-Based Navigation Solution. IO has two generations of missions

"Orbit Guard" provides Inspection and Space Situational Awareness services in GEO.

"Endurance" is a docking service capable of extending the life of GEO telecom satellites, by taking over AOCS takeover for 5 years.

About the Role

The Commodity Buyer is a member of the project team and will manage the procurement activities.

He/she will be responsible for POs, sourcing, negotiation, contract management and supplier management.

He/she will support the project execution in a very dynamic environment.

Job Description

1. Sourcing & Contract Management

Lead RFI/RFP/RFQ for team sourcing decision.

Negotiate, draft and manage supplier contracts to secure target costs, project’s milestones, payment terms and warranties.

2. Project Execution

Manage suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.

Track suppliers to secure cost, timing and quality.

Approve supplier deliverables with Delivery Managers and Supplier Quality team.

Lead supplier escalations and coordinate recovery actions.

Support the Quality team during supplier audits and on-site visits.

4. Quality, Risk & Continuous Improvement

Contribute to continuous improvement of supplier performance, procurement processes and tools.

Monitor and report procurement KPIs covering cost, delivery and planning.
