Your mission
Reporting to the Validation Department, the Commissioning Technician is responsible for the adjustment, parameterization, and commissioning of CWS wind-propulsion systems - initially on our test site, and later on client vessels.
He/she supervises suppliers and installation operations carried out by shipyards, performs functional tests and final adjustments, and contributes to the operational reliability of the product under real-life conditions.
Your responsibilities
In the first phase:
Adjust, parameterize, and validate hydraulic, electrical, and automation subsystems.
Support functional testing on the CWS test bench and participate in the final system qualification.
Coordinate technical suppliers involved in the commissioning of sub-assemblies.
Diagnose and correct malfunctions observed during tests or commissioning.
Perform maintenance tasks and write intervention reports
In the second phase:
Coordinate suppliers or teams (at the factory, at shipyards and during sea trials) performing lifting, mechanical, electrical or hydraulic operations.
Be the CWS technical representative at the shipyard during wings installation
Prepare and plan commissioning activities in coordination with the shipyard, suppliers, and internal teams.
Write test and commissioning reports and ensure feedback to the Quality, Validation, and Engineering teams.
Occasionally support the After-Sales Service for maintenance or field troubleshooting activities.
Your profile
Experienced technician (5–10 years) in commissioning or maintenance of industrial equipment, ideally in the naval, offshore, or energy sectors.
Proven experience in supervising installation teams (lifting, wiring, and hydraulics).
Strong skills in hydraulics and industrial electricity.
Valid certifications and training for hydraulic, electrical, lifting, and safety operations on shipyard sites.
Rigorous, autonomous, safety-oriented, and good interpersonal skills on site.
Willingness to travel (regular travel in France and abroad).
Optional: knowledge of automation systems (TIA Portal or equivalent).
