Commissioning Manager

We are supporting a leading international engineering contractor who has recently secured a major Data Centre project in the Paris region.

They are looking to appoint an experienced Commissioning Manager to join the project from the early stages and lead all commissioning activities through construction, testing and handover.

This is a long‑term opportunity on a large‑scale mission critical project, working closely with the client and a multidisciplinary delivery team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commissioning strategy across the project lifecycle.
• Manage commissioning activities from pre-construction through to handover.
• Coordinate commissioning engineers and wider project stakeholders.
• Develop and manage commissioning plans and schedules.
• Ensure mechanical and electrical systems are commissioned safely and efficiently.
• Interface directly with the client throughout the commissioning process.
• Manage testing, inspections and system validation activities.
• Identify commissioning risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Drive programme milestones and support successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years' commissioning experience .
• Previous experience as a Commissioning Manager on large industrial or mission critical projects.
• At least one completed Data Centre project is essential.
• Strong understanding of MEP commissioning processes.
• Experience working directly with clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Fluent French and English .
• Willing to work full-time on site in the Paris region.
• Eligible to work in France.
