TGD Consolidations & Liquid Bulk, founded in Le Havre, France in 1984, specializes in export consolidations and Flexitank solutions for liquid bulk.
The company operates sea consolidation services to the Caribbean Islands and Colombia and has developed unique sea reefer consolidation services to Asia at +15°C for fine wines and chocolates over the last decade.
TGD runs its own offices in Italy, Hong Kong & Taipei, acting as an international freight forwarder (IATA) and customs house broker in most French Ports & Airports.
The company is active with Fine wines airfreight from Bordeaux Airport.
TGD is seeking talent to support its growth to/from the ORIENT. Basically international sales addressed on to the overseas buyers of French & Italian Products.

Role Description
The Commercial Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Le Havre. This role focuses on identifying and developing new commercial opportunities for TGD’s consolidation and liquid bulk services, particularly within luxury goods and fine wines logistics.
Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and delivering sales presentations, managing the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
The specialist will engage with Shipping Line rate negotiations, coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure client needs are met, respond to inquiries, and provide timely, accurate information on services and pricing. The role also involves monitoring market trends, contributing to sales strategies, and representing the company at industry events or client meetings.
Along with Sales support Tours in the Middle & Far-east.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Sales and New Business Development, with a track record of achieving commercial targets.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Sales Presentations, including preparing proposals and presenting solutions.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in freight forwarding, logistics is a must.
- Knowledge of luxury goods and/or wine and spirits supply chains is an advantage.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in relevant business software (AKANEA, Slack, MS Office) and comfort working with data and reports.
- Professional proficiency in French and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Relevant education in Logistics, business, sales, international trade, is preferred.
