A snapshot of your day: as Commercial Sales Manager (CSM) for High-Voltage Equipment, you will act as the expert for offers and tenders.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Commercial support in acquisition phase: market analyses, participate in pre-sales contract meetings and collaborate closely with the sales, technical sales and engineering/PMs to structure offer/contract documents.
- Analyse, report and control the contractual, financial and tax risks related to the offers – risk mitigation (in collaboration with TCF).
- Organise administrative components of bids, implement internal approval process for offers, optimise offers and align it with risk management.
- Enhance offer competitiveness, determine and implement agreements relating to the defined contractual organization (consortium, subcontracting, etc.).
- Guarantee margin at order entry: negotiate customer contracts, in particular financial aspects (payment terms, cash flow, etc.) and their impact on price/margin.
- Be responsible for follow‑up of conditions ready for implementation (implementation of deposits, payment instruments, insurance, etc.).
- Organise and lead handover meetings with the implementation teams and provide them support during execution.
- Support PM/CPM in case of claim from the customer.
- Participate in the development and implementation of working methods and organisational improvement.
What You Bring
- University or College degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Commercial Engineering or legal studies with a commercial interest or equivalent professional experience.
- Expertise and experience in general financial knowledge (budget control, accounting principles, cash management) and specific financial knowledge (export techniques, sales financing, taxation, business & French law and contract management).
- Experience in a similar role, or in a legal role specialising in commercial contracts, preferably in the high-voltage equipment or energy sector.
- Proficient in French and English.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to cultivate relationships with both internal and external partners.
- Proactive and dynamic approach to work, adaptability and excellent time management.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
