Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Lead for France to join our Lifestyle Brands team and be responsible for both our Ecover and Method brands. You will work with our HFT partners and distributors, and on the French grocery channel. You will be based in our new office in Paris with colleagues from International Consumer Brands and will report to the FBNL Country Leader. Your role plays a pivotal part in both the local and European sales organisation. Working directly with category, brand experience, new product development, operations and finance to create and drive the strategy and deliver the business’s sales and profit targets.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver operating budget for your accounts and employ innovative sales and marketing solutions to meet value, gross margin and volume targets. Manage trade terms, agreements, price increases and promotional plans. Maintain a bottom‑up plan and provide clarity to leadership on an ongoing basis. Develop commercial solutions to issues and set stretching targets with clear rationales.
  • Drive retailer relationships, ensuring operational excellence and competitive advantage in your accounts.
  • Build compelling stories and sell with impact, using deep customer understanding, market and consumer insight, and data analysis to guide account strategy.
  • Collaborate with supply chain on forecast to deliver planned sales in line with the monthly forecast.
  • Develop a spend‑savvy promotional plan for customers, determining key activity moments and experimenting with new mechanics based on commercial and category insights.
  • Serve as an Ecover and Method role model and advocate internally and externally, positioning the brands as differentiated and value‑driven.
  • Live the values of LSB by collaborating closely with the team to set a culture and ways of working aligned with company values and behaviours.

Qualifications / Experience you’ll bring

  • Significant experience in FMCG, especially a strong track record in Account Management.
  • Fluent in French and English, confident managing relationships in an international environment.
  • Proven experience owning account P&Ls and leading annual negotiations, delivering sustainable, profitable growth.
  • A highly commercial, data‑driven mindset, comfortable leveraging insights across sales and trade marketing.
  • Proactive, self‑starter attitude with the ability to identify opportunities and turn them into action.
  • Strong ability to prioritise and manage multiple demands in a fast‑paced high‑pressure environment.
  • Exceptional relationship‑building and communication skills, able to influence and engage stakeholders from day one.
  • Confident creating compelling, insight‑led presentations that tell a clear story and drive results.
  • Advanced numerical and Excel skills, translating data into commercial decisions.
  • Growth‑driven, entrepreneurial mindset – curious, resilient and always pushing for better outcomes.
  • Creative, solutions‑focused approach, willing to test, learn and adapt quickly to drive brand and customer success.
