Responsibilities

  • Provide Finance and Commercial Support to GKA Sales Director and Sales teams: assist with finance and commercial support to business cases, tenders (existing and NBOs) and value propositions by preparing financial analysis, scenarios, and recommendations.
  • Support the contract management process with regards to review of commercial terms, use of standard contract forms, best practices, and monitoring of compliance vs existing agreements.
  • Own continuous tracking, validation, and commercial approval of Salesforce.com GKA actions, monitor pipeline and support timely execution of actions from a commercial perspective.
  • Create, maintain, and update cost models and raw material GKA trackers and assess impact to customer profitability.
  • Margin Enhancement and Recovery Management: identify, plan and drive Value Plus actions that create profitable growth and are aligned with customer needs.
  • Following the ValuePlus Agenda, prepare and follow up GKA ValuePlus reviews by suggesting areas of improvement to remove leakers, change mix or contract clauses.
  • Monitor Quarterly GKA PMDB margin review process and propose customers/segments and leakers to be reviewed; drive action definition and follow-up and link with other Value Plus reviews and stakeholders.
  • Trigger and track actions from developments of key raw materials, transport, energy and currency with Sales & Marketing; develop commercial approach to managing raw material cost risks and opportunities.
  • Support on Global Key Account Analysis and/or specific central Projects: lead or participate in key EMEA, Global GKAs and/or Cross-BG projects by managing documentation, scope, schedules, priorities, and stakeholder relationships; provide project level analyses.
  • Miscellaneous: coordinate GKA Account Plans, Budget and Monthly reports for Global Key Accounts; participate in GKAs perimeter Operating Plan; conduct ad hoc analyses as requested.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Formal Qualifications and Experience
    • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in Sales/Commercial/Controlling
    • University degree in applied economics, business administration, Finance, engineering or a related field
    • Preferably strong knowledge of Packaging business or related industries such as consumer goods or process industries
    • Strong ability and experience to manage in a cross-cultural environment
  • Language skills
    • Fluent English and other European language preferred
  • Specific Skills and Abilities
    • Strong Business, Commercial and Finance skills
    • Ability to work successfully in a matrix organization
    • Analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills; ability to think creatively
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced and virtual environment
    • Results oriented, accountable and a key team player
    • Experience in advising, problem analysis, developing recommendations
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
    • Continually challenge, motivate and improve processes, people and results
    • Understanding needs and expectations of internal and external customers
    • Ability to travel up to 30%
