Commercial Development Manager, Equipment Rental

• Be responsible for the agency’s commercial and operational development in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region
• Identify and develop new business opportunities
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and operational partners
• Manage the entire sales cycle
• Organize and participate in demonstrations and trade shows
• Develop expertise in equipment, regulations, technical and quality requirements, and rental returns
• Monitor complex customer projects and oversee project management
• Provide cross-functional management of operations and a network of partners
• Analyze the market and conduct competitive intelligence
• Define and implement a commercial development and operations action plan
• Manage and train subcontractors
• Recruit and manage future Account Managers and Technicians
• Oversee the operating account and control costs and margins
• Track key performance indicators and provide regular reporting to the France Sales Director

Requirements

• Experience in business development within the AURA industrial region
• Strong interest in and extensive experience with fluid management, water treatment, and environmental remediation
• Excellent knowledge of key stakeholders in the region’s industrial sector
• Fluent French
• Basic English proficiency
• Autonomy, strong sense of responsibility, results and growth orientation, and strategic vision
• Regional travel required
• Based in the Lyon area
