With nearly 40 years of experience, the company offers comprehensive services for land‑based and marine equipment, including refurbishment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support. Role Description

This is a full-time, on‑site Commercial role based in Rinxent. The Commercial will develop and manage a portfolio of professional customers, identify new business opportunities, and conduct regular sales prospecting in the field and by phone. Day‑to‑day activities include preparing and delivering tailored sales presentations, drafting commercial proposals and quotations, and negotiating terms in line with company strategy. The role also involves coordinating with the technical teams to understand client equipment needs, follow up on installations and maintenance contracts, and ensure high-quality customer service and long‑term relationships. The Commercial may also contribute to product and service training for customers, participate in trade fairs or professional events, and report on sales activity and market trends to management.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales skills, with experience in Sales and Sales Prospecting, ideally in technical products or industrial equipment.
  • Ability to design and deliver effective Sales Presentations adapted to different customer profiles.
  • Customer‑focused mindset with proven Customer Service experience and a commitment to building long‑term partnerships.
  • Experience in Training customers or partners on products, solutions, or services is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, or industrial environments (generators, engines, gearboxes, or similar) is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a sales pipeline independently.
  • Comfort with on-site customer visits, travel within the region, and use of basic digital tools (CRM, email, office software).
  • Valid driver’s license and proficiency in French; basic English or technical English is an asset.
  • Education in sales, business, or a technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
