Job Description

POSITION AND MISSIONS

You are joining our Trade Finance Operations team, which is looking for a Middle Office Commodity Trade Finance Manager intern 6 months from the July 2026.

In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:

• Contribute to monitoring the risk and safety of operations for a portfolio of clients specialized in international commodity trading.
• Analyze funding requests requested by clients in collaboration with the Front office.
• Being in direct contact with international customers.
• Validate the implementation of financing in collaboration with the back offices (e.g. currency advances, overdraft, issuance of documentary credits and/or stand‑by, international guarantee issues).
• Make sure the permanent monitoring of the risk and securities related to these financings (documentary collateral and analysis of exposures according to changes in overnight market prices or via forward hedging instruments).

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

• As a BAC+4/5 student, you are preparing a degree (university, business school or engineering school) with a specialization in finance/banking.
• You benefit from a sensitivity to commercial issues and good interpersonal skills.
• You master the usual office tools (Word, PowerPoint) and financial tools (Excel, macro VBA).
• You thrive in a stimulating and collaborative environment.
• You are perfectly fluent in English.
