Introduction

The Municipality of Montagny, located in the canton of Fribourg, has around 3000 inhabitants. The municipal administration's mission is to manage, support, assist, and supervise the entire municipality. It works closely with the various municipal services and residents to provide support and advice in all situations.

As a municipal employee in resident control, you will have a privileged connection with the citizens of our municipality. While being the face of the administration, you ensure an important role in its smooth operation by paying great attention to the quality of the service offered, the accuracy of data, and compliance with procedures. You will actively participate in the regular tasks of the administration. You will be at the heart of a dynamic team operating in a varied and demanding context.

Your tasks

• Ensure reception and welcome at the counter as well as on the telephone
• Inform the citizens of the municipality and users of the municipal counter
• Maintain and update the resident databases
• Carry out administrative tasks related to resident control and the foreigners' office in accordance with current regulations and laws
• Collaborate with other municipal services

Your profile

• Commercial employee certificate (CFC) or equivalent training
• Experience in the administrative field, ideally in public administration
• Sense of public service
• Experience in resident control of a municipality is an advantage
• Excellent command of IT tools
• Ease in communication, thoroughness in task completion, initiative, ability to work in a team

Specific conditions

• Presence required on Tuesdays and Thursdays (closing at 6:00 pm on Thursdays) for the counter
• Flexibility for other days depending on service needs (to be discussed).
