Cockpit Displays System Designer
Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Cockpit Displays System Designer to join our System Cockpit & Avionics Platform Engineering Design department based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team developing the display systems on our best-seller aircrafts, paving the future of cockpits displays, paving the road for Autonomy and Automatisation, introducing latest technologies (Head mounted Display, Tactile, Interactivities, etc…) while being interfaced with all other A/C Systems teams, Cockpit Operation team, Human Factors, Pilots and Flight Test Engineers. As part of the Displays SA / LR / RnT & HUD team, you will be involved in Display System development, you will be responsible for the specifications and the full development, including Verification and Validation activities and you will monitor Suppliers activities as well as activities performed with the Airbus Flight Test center, aiming at the implementation and the certification of the System.

Your challenges:
- Contributing to the functional requirements convergence at upstream level
- Delivering technical specifications and System Interfaces Documents in coordination with the interfaced functions or systems
- Driving the development process (supplier reviews, tests (Lab and Aircraft), certification), and providing the relevant set of data and documents in collaboration with Subcontractors
- Promoting agile and new ways of working for efficient co-working with multiple key internal stakeholders, for example : experts, system architects, safety specialists, certification, physical installation and wiring…
- Supporting the safety analysis
Your boarding pass:
- Educated to an Engineering degree (or equivalent)
- Keen interest in Cockpit or Avionics Systems development
- Good knowledge of hardware and software design and IT
- Analytical and synthesis skills
- Collaborative, team-player spirit and good organizational skills, with good notions of negotiation and stakeholder management
- Fluent in English
- First experience of new collaborative tools (Confluence, Jira, Google Workplace) and Agile program management (SAFE) would be a plus
