Descriptif de l'entité et de l'activité AL CO2 Europe SA, filiale à 100% du Groupe AirLiquide, réunit les activités de production et de distribution du CO₂ en Europe et définit la politique commerciale du CO₂ sur cette zone. Cette société compte 12 usines de production réparties sur 8 pays et sert près de 3000 clients, de l’industrie agro‑alimentaire au secteur du transport.

Quelle sera votre contribution et comment vous épanouir dans ce poste?

Main Accountabilities

  • Safety
    • Commitment to the AL Safety Policy and zero accidents on site.
    • Deploy, manage and monitor the ALCO₂ HSEQ policy in coordination with the HSEQ Department.
    • Ensure regulatory compliance, represent the company before various authorities, maintain licences and permits.
    • Organise and apply SOP, provide regulatory trainings and maintain documentation.
    • Report and investigate incidents, enforce corrective actions, manage safety and environmental plans.
    • Ensure compliance with the Industrial Management System (IMS) of the AL Group.
    • Lead crisis management.
  • Operations
    • Coordinate production and maintenance activities, TARs and make decisions balancing safety, reliability, production plan and cost efficiency.
    • Organise on‑call duty and participate.
    • Participate in OPEX and CAPEX budget development and monitoring.
    • Communicate the national roadmap (industrial programmes, efficiency, reliability).
    • Release produced CO₂ following Food safety management procedures (FSSC22000).
    • Represent the company before raw gas suppliers.
    • Ensure operational efficiency, cost control and meet productivity goals.
    • Track performance indicators and suggest improvements.
    • Engage in projects or technical development studies.
    • Investigate production and quality problems, assure compliance with specifications and availability for customers.
    • Maintain continuous improvement (MOC, GYM, RCA, SIO); ensure ISO9001 and ISO22000 compliance.
    • Report incidents, accidents and non‑conformities accurately; conduct reliability event analysis and follow action plans.
    • Ensure required production reporting and reliability improvement programmes (CSP, VS, SCORE).
    • Ensure training and qualification of personnel.
  • Team Management
    • Promote a good social climate and manage a team of 3 people.
    • Conduct yearly individual interviews, provide feedback, participate in performance reviews and merit planning.
    • Evaluate team skills, conduct regulatory training plans and issue authorisations.
    • Develop and coach the team to improve performances.
  • Additional responsibilities may include managing a remote liquid CO₂ depot or raw gas/liquid CO₂ transport pipeline as agreed in writing.

Education

Degree in Engineering, Process, Operations Management, or a related field.

Experience

Relevant experience in a similar role within a production or manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of CO₂ or Air gas purification and liquefaction processes and their implementation.
  • Ability to lead a team and promote collaboration.
  • Decisive, able to navigate priorities, anticipate requirements.
  • Adaptable to a changing environment.
  • Spoken English is required.
