Co-Solo Violin

The Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg is looking for a co-solo violinist who can also serve as a soloist in the second violin section. This section includes two principal positions and two co-soloist positions. The co-soloist will primarily play in the second chair but may also perform as a soloist in the third or fourth chair as needed.The audition will take place on November 23, 2026, starting at 9:30 AM, with a draw for the order of performance at 9:15 AM. All auditions will be held in Strasbourg at the Palais de la Musique et des Congrès. Please note that travel and accommodation expenses will not be reimbursed.Candidates must register by November 13, 2026, at the latest. An official accompanist will be available for the candidates. Free rehearsals will be held the day before the audition, subject to available slots. To schedule a rehearsal, candidates should contact the orchestra's management by email by November 16, 2026.
