About Lprint LPRINT is a French deep-tech start-up, supported by
INRIA, X-Up (École Polytechnique) . We are developing an
innovative 3D printer for the additive manufacturing of industrial-grade multilayer printed circuit boards (PCBs) .
Our mission is to
transform the way PCBs are designed and manufactured, enabling faster, more flexible, and sustainable PCB production that empowers hardware engineers and product development teams .
Our system enables
high-precision, multi-material printing
of conductive and dielectric materials — bridging the gap between laser processing, materials science, and electronics fabrication.
We are looking for a
Co-Founder
with deep expertise in
laser–materials interaction
and
materials physics
to join the founding team and help bring this breakthrough process from lab to prototype and beyond.
Your Role You will lead the
materials and process development
side of the technology:
Lead printed electronics process development: laser-based deposition
Study and optimize laser–material interaction for functional materials
Develop and characterize conductive, dielectric, and functional materials
Define process parameters and design of experiments (Do
E); drive prototype validation cycles
Collaborate with the optics/electronics co-founder on system integration
Build and manage partnerships with chemical suppliers, academic labs, and industrial collaborators
Contribute to IP development, publications, and grant applications
Required Qualifications
Ph
D in
Materials Science, Applied Physics, Laser Processing, or Physical Chemistry ;
Hands‑on experience with
pulsed lasers (ns/ps/fs) ;
Previous work in
printed electronics
as a plus.
Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in building a deep‑tech startup in the
Île‑de‑France
ecosystem.
Based in Île‑de‑France (or willing to relocate) for regular on‑site sessions at the Drahi‑X Novation Center;
Proficiency in English (written and spoken) for scientific and technical communication.
What You’ll Get
Co‑founder equity and a leadership role in an early‑stage deep‑tech startup
Work at the frontier of laser processing, printed electronics, and advanced manufacturing
Shape the next generation of additive PCB manufacturing
