Co founder - CEO

We are seeking a Co-founder and CEO to lead the company through fundraising, customer discovery, market analysis, regulatory strategy and commercialization. You will work closely with the technical founder to develop a commercial strategy and position the company as a key ingredient manufacturer and service provider.

Responsibilities

• Defining and executing the company’s overall vision, strategy, and roadmap together with the technical co‑founder.
• Leading early customer discovery with dermo‑cosmetic manufacturers, distributors and brands.
• Identifying market opportunities across cosmetic brands and dermatology clinics.
• Building a regulatory pathway strategy.
• Managing communication with investors, partners, and stakeholders.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, investors, partners and other stakeholders.
• Representing the company to the public and media.
• Fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
• Utilizing problem‑solving skills to address complex challenges and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensuring the company’s financial sustainability and growth, including managing cash flow and fundraising activities.

The ideal candidate should have several of the following:

• Experience as a founder, CEO, or senior leader in a life sciences startup, ideally in the field of innovative dermo‑cosmetics.
• Experience commercializing a product, ideally in the field of innovative dermo‑cosmetics.
• Deep knowledge of cosmetic or pharmaceutical ingredient commercialization, and its associated value chain.
• Experience establishing partnerships with public or private institutions.
• Hands‑on experience with customer discovery and early market validation.
• Ability to identify opportunities in dermo‑cosmetic and healthcare markets.
• Experience navigating regulatory environments, ideally in different regions.
• Proven ability to raise capital at early stages.
• Ownership mindset, resilience and integrity.

Location and Language

• Based in France or able to relocate.
• Professional working proficiency in both French and English.
