CMM Service Engineer (France)
Are you looking for a challenging career within a company with a strong brand reputation in the Metrology business?Our wide range of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM’s), measuring SW and Sensors are deployed worldwide in industries such as automotive, aerospace, medical and plastic moulding spans.We are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Service Engineer based in France/Lyon-Bordeaux-Paris area.Main office will be in Magny les Hameaux near Paris.
What will be your key areas of responsibilities?
- You ensure that daily maintenance, repair and service needs are met efficiently, while actively contributing to customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- You install, calibrate, repair and maintain equipment on site.
- You are a technical expert in your product area and undergo training.
- You will rigorously record all interventions (inspections, maintenance, repairs) and submit the corresponding reports within the specified deadlines.
- You will participate in service sales opportunities and contribute to the promotion and implementation of revenue programmes.
- You will ensure that tools and test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
- Working mostly alone at the customer’s site, you maintain clear and regular communication with the head office or technical support teams.
- You travel frequently in France and occasionally abroad, depending on the company’s needs.
What are your required qualifications?
We are looking for a professional with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in metrology and a higher education in this field. An engineering degree would be an advantage, but is not mandatory for this position.We expect the following qualifications:
- Solid knowledge of three-dimensional measuring machines (CMMs).
- Technical training or experience in the fields of electricity,mechanics, electronics and pneumatics.
- Proven experience with technical equipment or products on site.
- Strong customer service skills and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Very good command of French and English, both spoken and written.
- Good command of IT tools, particularly Microsoft Office.
