We are seeking a Consumer Marketing Insights Manager (CDD) for Active Beauty in Toulouse to cover a maternity leave, with a planned start date of July / August, for a duration of 7 months.

Reporting to the Head of Strategic and Operational Marketing at Active Beauty, your role will be to oversee the consumer research division and the team. In this role, you will actively participate in the development of cosmetic ingredients. You will work closely with the marketing, R&D and sales teams and manage a work-study student.

Contribute to Business Growth

  • Partner with regional sales and key account managers to address local market needs and deliver custom‑made client studies
  • Translate insights into strategic recommendations and client‑facing presentations

Enable Cross‑Functional Success

  • Gather and align briefs from Marketing, R&D and Sales
  • Collaborate internally with Active Beauty different departments and the global Givaudan CMI community
  • Lead end‑to‑end CMI projects design, agency briefings, sample coordination, analysis and reporting
  • Build strategies to amplify insights

Shape Strategy & Foresight

  • Align CMI roadmap with new product launches and client priorities
  • Identify new partnerships and innovative research methodologies
  • Represent CMI externally and drive competitive intelligence

Manage Talent & Operations

  • Supervise and onboard a work‑study student
  • Manage external partner relationships and annual budget planning

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from a business school, in marketing, applied mathematics or statistics
  • At least 3 years of experience in consumer research
  • Proficiency in common data analysis software applications and the ability to program online surveys
  • Expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research (methodology, research designs, questionnaires, etc.)
  • Knowledge of statistics
  • Management experience preferred
  • Affinity for the beauty industry is an advantage
  • Fluent in English and French is mandatory
