Cluster Financial Controller FraBeNeLux
The role is responsible for overseeing financial operations of the Bath & Wellness division for the cluster, focusing on financial planning of legal entities, budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting. It ensures compliance with Villeroy & Boch accounting policies and IFRS, manages financial responsibility for France, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg and coordinates with auditors.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes across the legal entities in France, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, including intercompany relations and mid‑term planning.
- Support the risk management process to identify and assess financial risks.
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for Villeroy & Boch and Ideal Standard entities.
- Perform calculation of transfer prices and intercompany provisions with central controlling team and group reporting & tax department.
- Establish documentation for year‑end closing and hard‑close to auditors and prepare balance‑sheet reviews.
- SG&A control and analysis: monitor, analyse and report on structure costs, identify cost‑optimisation opportunities and provide recommendations.
- Ensure accuracy of internal and external reporting, guaranteeing data integrity and consistency across financial systems.
- Conduct ad‑hoc financial analysis and support special projects such as S/4 HANA implementation and integration tasks.
- Monitor and manage cash flow for Villeroy & Boch and Ideal Standard entities, including forecasting and planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; professional accounting qualification a strong plus.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in financial controlling, audit or accounting roles.
- Skills: Experience with SAP FI/CO modules; experience with S/4 HANA a plus. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- High accuracy, attention to detail, proactive, results‑oriented; able to work independently and as part of a team.
