Cloud Proxy Administration Engineer – Level 3

MISSIONS: Implementation of a Cloud Proxy Solution. A cloud proxy solution must be deployed within a context of very tight deadlines and significant third-party constraints. The candidate must have expertise in cloud proxy solution concepts and their implementation in complex environments. Knowledge of the solutions offered by Netskope and Palo Alto is also required.

• Scoping and Design: Gather and analyze regional needs, identify traffic flows, user populations, usage patterns, and regulatory constraints, then define the target architecture of the Cloud Proxy solution. Existing System Analysis: Conduct a review of existing proxy solutions, filtering rules, authentication mechanisms, network interconnections, and application dependencies. Standards Definition: Formalize architectural principles, configuration models, and security rules applicable to regional environments. Security Policy Design: Define and implement policies for web filtering, application control, threat prevention, SSL/TLS inspection, and exception handling. Technical integration: Integrate the solution with identity and authentication services, network equipment, workstations, mobile environments, and monitoring and logging tools. Solution administration: Configure, administer, and maintain the Netskope and Palo Alto platforms related to the Proxy Cloud scope. Deployment preparation: Define the migration strategy, prerequisites, deployment procedures, eligibility criteria, and cutover schedule by region. Testing and validation: Develop and execute technical and functional test plans, analyze discrepancies, and manage corrective actions before production deployment. Deployment and production rollout: Support pilot teams, ensure smooth cutovers, secure the rollout phases, and guarantee service continuity. Level 3 support: Handle complex incidents, analyze root causes, coordinate vendor escalations, and propose corrective and preventative measures. Monitoring and optimization: Track availability, performance, and security indicators, analyze logs, and improve configurations and policies. Documentation and skills transfer: produce architecture and operations documentation, deployment guides, support procedures and ensure the upskilling of local teams. Project coordination: collaborate with network, security, workstation, operations and business teams, participate in monitoring committees and communicate on risks, dependencies and milestones.
