Le Groupe BBU recherche un consultant Ingénieur Plateforme Cloud afin de définir, concevoir et mettre en œuvre les briques techniques d’une stratégie de Disaster Recovery de type « Warm Pilot » sur AWS, pour l’un de ses clients du secteur industriel en Île-de-France.

Context

As part of the platform resilience strategy, we are looking for a Platform Engineer to design and drive the implementation of a Warm Pilot Disaster Recovery capability. This role operates in a critical cloud environment with strong requirements around availability, reliability, security, automation, and operational excellence. The position covers hands‑on implementation , with a strong platform architecture mindset.

Mission

The Platform Engineer will be responsible for defining, designing, and implementing the technical building blocks required for a Warm Pilot Disaster Recovery strategy on AWS. The solution must be automated, testable, secure, operable, and aligned with the existing platform standards and engineering practices .

Key Responsabilities

• Review and challenge the existing target Warm Pilot Disaster Recovery architecture for critical cloud workloads.
• Review and challenge the technical patterns for failover, failback, replication, synchronization, and recovery orchestration .
• Translate resilience and recovery requirements into robust, pragmatic, and scalable technical solutions.
• Implement infrastructure and DR components using Infrastructure as Code and GitOps principles.
• Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure end-to-end consistency.
• Define and document failover, failback, recovery validation, and DR testing procedures .
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, single points of failure, and operational gaps.

Candidate Profile

• Platform Engineer with architecture/design skills developed through experience
• Strong experience operating AWS-based production platforms
• Solid expertise in Infrastructure as Code , automation, and deployment standardization
• Strong understanding of resilience, high availability, disaster recovery, and production operations
• Ability to design solutions that are robust, simple, maintainable, and testable
• Comfortable working across multiple teams and technical domains
• High attention to details and quality deliverable , including documentation
