What you'll do

Design and implement scalable cloud architectures that meet the specific needs of our clients while ensuring compliance with security protocols and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for cloud solutions.
Manage and optimize cloud resources to ensure high availability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline cloud operations, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual intervention.
Monitor cloud environments for performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and compliance with regulatory standards, implementing necessary adjustments as required.
Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal teams, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues.
Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and trends, recommending improvements and innovations that align with business objectives.
Document cloud architectures, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance with organizational standards.
Participate in regular security assessments and audits to maintain the integrity and security of cloud environments.
Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate cloud solutions into the software development lifecycle, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for cloud engineering within the organization.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field, with a strong focus on security and compliance.
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with hands‑on experience in deploying and managing cloud services.
Solid understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and cloud architecture principles.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice to have

Relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to enhance cloud deployment processes.
Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards such as NIST, FedRAMP, or ISO 27001.
