AWS Cloud Engineer - Paris
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement custom AWS architectures to support quantitative research and modelling
- Collaborate with researchers, developers, and data scientists to build scalable and secure cloud solutions
- Ensure performance, reliability, and availability of cloud infrastructure
- Automate infrastructure deployment, monitoring, and management
- Continuously improve systems for scalability, cost-efficiency, and speed
Key Skills
- 4+ years experience as a Cloud Engineer or Architect (senior/junior hires)
- Strong experience with AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch)
- Kubernetes expertise (mandatory)
- Experience with containerisation (Docker) and serverless architecture
- Knowledge of DevOps and IaC tools (e.g. Terraform)
- Strong understanding of cloud security, encryption, and governance
