Role Overview

As a Data Engineer, you will join an agile IT team to help build data transformation pipelines. You will work closely with developers, the Product Owner, and Data Architects on data modeling aspects.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and development phases of data transformation projects.
• Develop the full transformation pipeline (ETL/ELT) within the Data Lake (Snowflake), building the Lakehouse and Silver/Gold layers from the Bronze layer.
• Automate the deployment of data pipelines using DBT Cloud and CI/CD with Jenkins.
• Manage the evolution and ensure the maintenance of proposed solutions.
• Write documentation related to the projects.

Qualifications

• Degree from an engineering school, IT school, or a university program (e.g., MIAGE).
• Successful professional experience as a Data Engineer, Data Ops, or ML Ops in a Public Cloud environment.
• Strong development skills, keen interest in automation (CI/CD) and scripting, thrive in a challenging work environment.
• Deep concern about performance, reliability, maintainability, and scalability—both in code and in architectures.
• Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Scala, or Java, and proven experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• Fluency in English.
