Cloud Architect
An innovative AI HealthTech startup is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to help build the cloud infrastructure powering the future of surgery.
Operating at the intersection of artificial intelligence, surgical video, clinical workflows and healthcare technology, the business is developing AI-powered infrastructure that transforms surgical video into structured clinical intelligence, documentation and real-time healthcare workflows.

The Opportunity
As Senior Cloud Architect, you will take ownership of the company's cloud platform, DevOps practices and production infrastructure, working directly with the CTO to design scalable, secure and highly reliable systems supporting AI products, data pipelines and distributed applications.
This is a hands-on architecture role with significant technical ownership, where you will help define engineering best practices whilst building the cloud foundation behind next-generation AI-powered healthcare products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across production environments
- Architect secure, highly available cloud platforms supporting AI, backend and data workloads
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows and Infrastructure as Code
- Design containerised infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement monitoring, logging, observability and incident response processes
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, security and cost optimisation
- Collaborate closely with software, AI and data engineering teams
- Define DevOps best practices across the engineering organisation
- Support secure handling of healthcare, video and structured data
- Help scale the platform as the business continues to grow
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' experience as a Cloud Architect, Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer
- Strong experience designing and managing production cloud infrastructure
- Commercial experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Strong understanding of networking, cloud architecture, security and observability
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
- Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes experience
- Experience supporting distributed systems in productionExperience working within cloud-native environments
- Excellent collaboration skills and a pragmatic, hands-on mindset
Highly Desirable
- Healthcare, MedTech or regulated industry experience
- AI, Machine Learning or GPU infrastructure
- Video processing or data-intensive platforms
- MLOps or model-serving infrastructure
- SOC2, ISO27001 or compliance-driven environments
- Secrets management, cloud security and access control
- High-availability architecture and disaster recovery
- Edge computing or real-time data pipelines

- Hybrid role based in Paris
- 3–4 days per week onsite preferred (yet flexible)
